Edutel Holdings (Pty) Ltd was founded in the early 90’s by Andries Pelser (Chief Executive Officer) who brought with him over 35 years of experience in the field of education and training. Growing demand led Edutel to establish associate companies namely Edutel Wholesale and Retail Academy (Pty) Ltd, Edutel Skills Development (Pty) Ltd, Edutel Services Company (Pty) Ltd, Edutel Public Services Company (Pty) Ltd and Edutel Higher Education (Pty) Ltd.
Edutel is your one-stop to life-long learning, specialising in skills development and training, higher education, employment, marketing, teacher training, Continued Professional Teacher Development (CPTD), Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and the offering of formal qualifications in different sectors of the economy. Edutel Wholesale & Retail Academy
Edutel Wholesale & Retail Academy is the largest wholesale and retail training provider, accredited by the W&RSETA & QCTO, offering more than 95% of the qualifications and part qualifications registered for the Wholesale & Retail Sector.
Edutel Skills Development is accredited by the ETDP SETA, offering ETDP SETA accredited qualifications and part qualifications including the NQF level 5 & 6 OD-ETDP qualification. Edutel Skills Development also specialises in the upgrading of Teachers and Principals and provides Professional Development Point short courses for Teachers.
Edutel Services Company
Edutel Services Company is accredited by the Services SETA and South African Board for People Practices (SABPP), offering Business Management and Human Resource qualifications and part qualifications.
Edutel Public Services Company
Edutel Public Services Company is accredited by the Public Service SETA offering Public Sector qualifications and part qualifications including Public Administration NQF level 3, 4 & 5.
Edutel Higher Education
Edutel Higher Education is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution, offering the Diploma in Grade R Teaching, NQF level 6, the Advanced Certificate in Foundation Phase Teaching NQF level 6, the Advanced Certificate in Intermediate Phase Teaching, NQF level 6, the Advanced Diploma in Education in School Leadership and Management, NQF level 7 and the Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching, NQF level 7, the Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching, NQF level 7 and the Bachelor of Education Honours in Educational Leadership and Management, NQF level 8.
